I have been researching a new clutch kit for my 08 g37s coupe. Still having trouble deciding what I want to go with, but the exedy stage 2 is one of my top choices at the moment. I won't be going with FI at any point, so I don't think anything beyond stage 2 will be necessary. I drove an old coworkers 350z about 4 months ago and LOVED his clutch. He told me it was an Exedy stage 2 ORGANIC clutch. I did some looking around immediately after that to see what that identical clutch would cost for my G. Maybe I am mistaken, but I am almost positive I found a stage 2 "organic" made by exedy. Now all I can find is a stage 1 "organic" and a stage 2 "cerametallic". Did the stage 2 "organic" get discontinued? Or did it just never exist? I'm extremely confused right now. I am going to call the guy tomorrow and ask to verify what it is he actually has.

Another question: GTM Motorsports has an Exedy stage 2 clutch kit for $750. Everywhere else sells this same thing for around $1100-$1300. How can they possible sell this for so cheap? Am I missing something? It doesn't seem to be missing something that the other vendors include. I don't remember which site I was on, but I did it online chat with a representative since they offered price matching. Sent him the link to GTM and he said, "we won't be able to match that price, you found an amazing deal and should go with it. We hope you will use us in the future".

Ur best bet is just to call Exedy...now as far as GTM goes good luck with em. Please do a search on GTM on these forums and the z forums.
