Headers and HFC with Stillen SC - Which ones should I get?

Hey gang. So my setup is Stillen stg. 1 SC and Motordyne catback exhaust. Running stock cats and headers. Looking to upgrade to HFCs and a nice set of headers. Wondering what would work best with this setup. Also, I want to know if it's necessary to retune after I install.

Cheers.

I would think you would def have to retune after the install. If you really wanna upgrade you could go with the fast intentions long tube headers. They eliminate the cats so you would be killing two birds with one stone.

That being said I have never had a SC so take my advice as such. But you should def look into the Fast Intentions route

I'm kinda skeptical about going completely catless. May be too absurdly loud.

Neither :/ even Stillen says don't install HFCS . You actually lose WHP and our cars come with headers . And the last guy that know of that installed headers with the Stillen kit blew his motor. can I ask you serious question? Are trying to blow your car up cause if you are then keep adding things toe kit till it pops . Seriously man the kits only GOOD FOR 420iwh who that's it !

Agreed... went down this path and argued with Stillen as I had the MD ART pipes but had to go back to stock cats based on advice for others on this forum... but made 443WHP

Does the SC kit make your car much much louder (plz forgive the inexperience guys, I've just never had or seem a SC)?

The reason I ask is I'm only a week away from having the LTH's and FI CBE installed. I already have LT CAI and a motordyne M370 mani. I'm praying that it doesn't end up being "absurdly loud" like your suggesting would happen with your setup if you eliminated cats. Thoughts anyone? If my car dies end up much louder than I'd prefer are there any options left for me other than removing something?

The SC is quiet and all you will hear is a slight whistle. My car was quite a bit louder before the SC install as I had the MD test pipes and had to go back to stock cats. I am a bit disappointed that the car is quieter now... but it is like a silent killer LOL. Before there was no sneaking up on anyone and they could totally tell when I punched it. The SC kit will replace your entire intake system. I had to sell my Stillen V3 long tube intakes.
