Rear Differential
I'm trying to order a rear differential for my car but I'm not sure as to which one I should get. I have a 2010 G37x AWD...please help

Why would he be OK putting a VLSD in his AWD model?

This is a hot topic and I personally think the VLSD will throw off the sensors and everything with the AWD system. The system is sensitive and can't even have over 1% difference in front to rear tire diameter so I have a hard time thinking this would be a painless swap, or even beneficial.
I see the benefit of changing the final drive, but you certainly cannot do this on the AWD without changing the front, and there isn't any parts available for that. The traction, stability, and AWD system are going to make the LSD unnoticeable, even if the swap works perfectly.
Even though Infiniti says that the xS coupe gets an LSD, I would love to see someone jack up their rear end and spin one wheel to prove it once and for all.

You need to understand VLSD is not as potent as a mechanical LSD so the locking action isn't as strong. Slippage will still go through but will be in a more limited fashion which should not interfere (as much or even at all) with the AWD computer.

I just had a question after searching and looking up specs on the final drive.
Are all 7AT LSD all 3.357?
Have they ever made 7AT LSD with 3.69?
I am looking for the 3.357 LSD diff, and I wanted to make sure as the place I am looking doesn't say if it has 3.357.

VLSD turns into an open diff once it gets some miles on it, something around 60-80k. It cannot be fixed as it's a sealed unit. If I was replacing mine, I'd throw on higher final drive one, like 4.08. Although I have no idea how it would work on awd, I've replaced a few diffs but it was always on rwd cars.

Ok, thanks guys but I have another question. I just found out the that the rear differential has seized up. Not sure if any gears have been stripped or anything but any suggestions on the steps I need to take to fix this or do I just buy a new differential?
