Oil leak.

Hey, so I just 2011 g37xs and it leaked oil over my driveway. What seems to be oil. The filter and nut seem to be snug. When i checked the oil a couple days it seems a little high on the dip stick. Now it's a lil lower but not by much. Any ideas?

You just WHAAAT?
Parked it, changed its oil, rotated the tires, washed it ......???????

It would help to know approximately where it is dripping under the car. Is it right under the front end, to one side, under the mid section of the car, etc.??

IF it is oil, and if you just changed the oil, it is possible that the gasket from the old filter remained attached to the car (not the filter) and you threaded the new one on over the top of it, creating a double gasket situation which is guaranteed to leak. It is also possible the oil cooler is leaking from where it seals (a few inches behind the filter).

Other thoughts are that it's actually tranny fluid leaking from the cooling lines that run to the radiator. It could also be power steering fluid, or possibly even tranny fluid from the transfer case.

More (and clearer) info would help a lot.

Hey so no I haven't done any oiks changes or other engine work. It looks to be coming from the mid section of the engine. It's not coolant, not power steering or tranny fluid. It is for sure oil and when checking it on the dip stick the oil looks brand new. I'm thinking either an loose oil plug or filter. Just wondering if any body had the same issue or had any ideas?

First of all, you still haven't answered what it is that you just did ...????
What did you intend to say in your first post? (go back and reread it)

I gave you a couple plausible ideas for what could likely cause an oil leak.

I don't know why you now think it is a loose drain plug or filter when you just said "they seem to be snug".

Have you actually pulled the belly pan off and looked at where the leak is coming from?

Something similar happened to my G and it turned out to be the oil pan gasket.
The dealer changed the gasket under warranty.

They seem to be snug but I don't have anyway to get a wrench on them right now. I was just curious if people had the same problem. I went home and I went to leave again I noticed the leak.
