Sounds like alot of people recommend not changing to the high boost pulley on a stock block... what about other mods? In particular a ported Throttle body? I assume more air flow on a supercharger application would be helpful? or has anyone done a bigger or better charge pipe? Just curious.

I love my setup but would love the boost to come on just alittle more in the early midrange.

From: Framingham Ma,
ported TB IMO is a waste, There not enough air flow for it make any real difference, Heck I'm finding out there no "Real" gain in intake manifolds either :/

Hey ANMVQ, I got Prosport Boost, Oil Temp and Tranny Temp Gauges (thanks for the tip), however it isn't clear if I need to purchase an adapter to install the senders for Oil/Tranny temp, called Prosport they didn't know either for the G, I know you ran these gauges, what say you? Do I have what I need 'in the box' from Prosport or do I need to purchase adapter for both Oil and Tranny temp senders?

Thanks!

in terms of the 928 Motorsports Impeller upgrade.... I see some send the whole SC unit to Vortech for the upgrade and some just change impeller themselves...(looks like a easy swap) are there more parts needed?

From: Framingham Ma,
never did it. Something like that I'd leave to the professionals ! Plus you do it NO warranty on the part or the SC, Send it out let then do it and get the 3 year warranty that comes with it. Stillen did mine. I still think this is a No, No on the kit also. But EH

From: Framingham Ma,
There are guys running the 9 PSI pulley I think with 750cc's I think. I PSI will get you like 15 WHP worth it to you ?

i think the pulley is about $100 so not too bad... I'm due for a re-tune so thought what the hell if im going to do it, might as well add in the pulley. Just out of curiosity... if I had bigger injectors like the ID850's or ID1000's? would I see a bigger gain potentially?

From: Framingham Ma,
No, Thats overkill for fuel but your tuner can adjust for that. Trust me with the stillen kit your not going to make enought PSI with the 9lbs pulley to run out of fuel. I was at 12-13 nad was running 750CC's and more than enough fuel. Just make sure you change from the wally pump. I went with a DW330

From: Framingham Ma,
I had the one above that one, But the DW300 will be more than enough for the 9 PSI pully and injectors( 750CC's). Still don't like the idea of upping the boost tho. that's just me
