The easiest option for you would be to source an auto g37 sport (3 flange) diff. it'll be a direct swap. You can also source a VLSD from an auto 370z with sport packages and nismo models. These will also be 3 bolt input flanges and will be a direct swap.
In the event you find a mnaual g37/370z differential (4 bolt flange), you can still swap the input flanges but its more work.

Journey and base model rwd came with open differentials. No awd (even the G37XS) had vlsd.

Looking at it a CUSTOM ADAPTER SPACER would work perfectly. One that accept the Auto DS and bolts to the 4 bolt flange. In the auto you have the rubber donut which this could be messed with to work. It would be a lot easier than changing the flanges. Just nobody makes them.
If someone could have an adapter, i can see it selling decently sell, since sourcing 3.6 from manual g37 and 370z is easy and fairly cheap for auto folks.

This is awesome, I will attempt this in my 2011 X sedan. Just to be clear, you can swap in a 3-bolt vlsd and replace the original 6-bolt flange? Aside from trimming the centering shaft, there's no modification needed for the driveshaft or axle shafts?

As far as the axle shafts, usually apparently the G37 LSDs have a threaded opening for the bolt. But for my G35 it had a flat opening so the bolt could go right through.

The 3-bolt input flange is easily removed after removing the 30mm nut and pulling the flange off.
I just sold a manual 3.69 diff and sold it with a 3-bolt flange i pulled off an auto from the junk yard.
