I do believe the 08 diff will bolt in directly to the driveshaft for that specific year and I ordered threaded bolts from Nissan to address the threading issue that you succinctly pointed out....I think I have all bases covered but you never know until you get under the car and tear everything out....

it will not i bought mine from from a 08 as well .... i had to change the flange on the drive shaft and the side flanges as well

here they are being changed out

Thanks for the heads up Chuck..I assume you swapped the side flanges off the diff that was on the car, the 3.36 flanges. Where did you get the flange for the driveshaft??

The flange on the 08 diff I picked up is the triangle 3 bolt unit and should match up to the driveshaft...I have the threaded bolts on order from Nissan that should bolt up without swapping...

I am getting conflicting thoughts on the axle boltup and sure would like to minimize any unexpected obstacles.
