Constant exhaust cooling noise from under car after it reaches operating temp.
Hello!
I've been searching the forums / google for the last few days and haven't turned up much on this issue. Because of the similar search terms, most my results point me to exhaust rattle in the muffler, which I've already had fixed. This is different.
Once the car is warm and running at idle, it makes noises similar to how a warm vehicle sounds after it has been shut off (from the exhaust system contracting as it cools). It is very noticeable in the drive thru or in my garage. If I rev the motor slightly, the noise goes away, and then returns after the car idles a few more seconds. I found a thread yesterday saying it might be the cat, but haven't really turned up much else.
Any help or information would be much appreciated. The noise is highly annoying.
Thanks!

I believe there was a recall on the 08 exhausts for the rattle. However, if it's a ticking kinda popping noise, it's normal.
