Ethanol free gasoline

So the gas station near me just started selling ethanol free gasoline. I was just wondering if anyone out there uses this in their cars. It's about $.20 more than the premium gas. Is it worth it to use?

I do, but I don't thinks there's really any difference other than peace of mind. I don't see a noticeable increase in MPG. I don't see any increase in power. I can't tell if the valves are cleaner or not. I guess I just do it knowing that 100% gasoline runs through the cars veins. Now that I'm typing this, I may as well stop....

I notice a pretty significant decrease in mpg w/ Ethanol, if it's 10% ethanol I get just about 10% worse mpg.

Up here in Canada, Shell sells ethanol free gas, whereas ESSO has 10% ethanol and I do notice the difference about 10% worse mpg with ethanol compared to ethanol free. I only buy from Shell, Ethanol free only for me.

I get ethanol free every second fill up. Ethanol is a big problem when its sits idol and breaks down, super hard on boat engines. 2 years ago I had to dispose of 120 Gallons of gas from my boat that sat over the winter.

That will happen with most gasoline, ethanol or not. Put some Sta-bil in it and it will make it good for up to 12 months.

Gas with 10% or more ethanol wont last 6 months, stabilizer or not. Might be fine for a lawnmower but that's about it. It breaks down, wont pass through filters. If your running it through its ok, just cant store it over the winter and expect your engines to run good in the spring.

From what I understand the ethanol helps burn "gunky" build up in the engine and helps the engine last longer.

I have no reference for this, not sure if I saw it online or word of mouth but always took it for that.
