just use the right viscosity fluid for component in question

look in the owners manual for the viscosity of fluid used in differential. nissan like all other car manufacturers do not manufacture oils and fluids for their vehicles. all fluids are made by some petroleum company such as mobil, castrol, and other major companies. just like brake pads on a car, nissan/infiniti on many car models uses brake pads made by hitachi. if you go to a automotive parts house and request hitachi brake pads for your nissan/infiniti u can actually save anywhere from $30-50 bucks. just do some research and get the correct part or fluid for your car and you should have no problems.
