Which will give more low end torque, TT or SC

Anyone know what system will give the biggest gain in low end torque?

I believe that the TT will out torque an SC through most of the RPM range. Possibly the SC would be more 'torquey' below 2500RPM. I am happy to be corrected though!

TT gives more instant power possibly at lower RPMS depending on the setup, but once pushed your way through there will be no top end power usually.

Most SC systems dont give you as hard of a kick, but will continue to make more and more power the longer you have your foot in to it.

i own a sc lightning and tt g37...so..the supercharger will be better for low end torque..the tt will still produce good ammounts of tq but will produce even better ammounts of hp..and it all depends on your setup. but supercharged is how you want to go if you want low end.

Here.
GTM stage 1 sc.

GTM stage 1 tt

SC is more civil and linear in power while the tt is like a on off switch.

With the Centrifugal style blowers, I haven't seen any low down torque advantages really. It depends a lot on the size of turbo and how fast it spools in regards to low end torque.

Superchargers, with turbos you will always have turbo lag...but turbo=free power, where as the supercharger takes away power to make more power.

FYI, its all about horsepower + torque, having more torque than HP is not fun, you break alot of **** like that.

As long as you don't exceed what the stock block can handle.
If the block is built I've seen multiple g35 coupe / sedan builds well into the 550whp daily driven tt, holding up years later.
The vvel set up is a high compression motor, usually TC cars have lower compression when boosted. That's why you can't just pump the boost to 30psi on the g37, you will have one problem after the next. 11 psi with tt, or maybe a nice big single.
More lag but when it spools up, hang on.

I have owned both SC and TT cars, just going off actual experience. No reason for ppl to hate me for it.

If you've never driven a well-tuned TT turbo car, you are only speculating about turbo 'lag'.

Let me assure you, there is NO lag. It simply gets faster from 2000 rpm and up. Real talk.
