Engine shudder at stop

Hi all,

I searched and found some info on RPM increase (surge) under braking but that is not quite my issue.

I have a 2008 G35 sedan. What happens intermittently (but quite regularly) is that when I come to a stop (at a light), the RPM will drop from idle and the whole car will shudder slightly.

This happens whether the car is hot, cold, high speed, low speed. This started happening about 6 months ago. I have no idea what could be causing it.

Ideas?

I had a similar issue with my 2010 g37. I took it in to the dealer to do the transmission reprogram TSB and I have not noticed the issue since that time. I don't believe that the same TSB would apply to the G35 though...

Something that might be worth checking out is the DIY on cleaning your throttle bodies. I've read on here that your problem can indicate dirty throttle bodies.
