Cleaned throttle bodies and now the rpm's don't drop very rapidly
I pulled the throttle bodies and carefully cleaned out the carbon build up spraying the cleaner on the rag and wiping the insides of the throttle bodies. Snugged them back up and fired it up. Much smoother idle however after I started to drive it I notice the rpms do not drop between shifts (6MT) and will hover around 1200 when coming to a stop for a few seconds before finally settling down to around 900.
I tried the crazy idle reset by turning the car to on and pumping the gas pedal 5x in 5 seconds then holding it down for 20 seconds but it didn't change anything.
Any suggestions?
Thanks fellas

It was regular throttle body cleaner from PepBoys.
Thanks Can'tGMe I will give it another go. I tried it 3x but the "Service Engine Soon" light never did go off like the instructions says it should.

if you mess with the electronic flapper when cleaning them youll probably need to replace them i have seen it all the time.... good luck the throttle body itself is around 900 bucks before install
