Anyone have to wait few seconds after pressing brake to change gears?
This didnt happen before but did after I have audio system hooked up, I disconnected the audio system, I still have a power drain, but the gears dont move like butter smooth like before, I have a automatic, and before I could just press the Brake and go from P to R fast, now i have to give it a delay before it lets me move it.
I took it to dealer for a dead battery once and after that, for a day it went all smooth like butter like it was stock OEM, but it still acts up and doesnt let me move gears as fast as I was used to, some type of glitch going on, anyone else experienced same?
I have a 2008 G37 Sport Coupe with 15,000 Miles, THANKS!

Not sure if this is what ur referring to, but my car (and I'm sure all other Gs) has to be completely started before I can shift out of P. If I try to take it out of park before the engine fully turns over, it just shuts off.

Thank you for your reply, no the engine can be on for 30 seconds, 5 minutes but it will still do it, like it's not catching my brake sensor right away, and the lever of course pushes but won't let me pull, I gotta let go of lever n try again and I know for sure it wasn't like this before getting car modded and it has fixed itself temporarily at times n gone back to same issue. A friends same year G37 is smooth so I know it's not just me, I don't know if its a ground contact or what
