Don't know why this is any better than the stock piece, but I ordered one anyway. No since working if you can't spend it foolishly, and I helped stimulate the economy too.

Its better because if you work on your car a lot, the OEM takes some abuse coming on and off a lot.

Ordered mine and came in two days! So much better than OEM and only about $60 more then new OEM. Thanks Joe! Great communication and service.

Wouldn't think a small piece of aluminum would be so nice.

Yeah I put this on my best mod for the money list and you're right the kit and the ease of the oil door and drain hole is a plus. Good look Joe.👍

to those that have put one on; do you need the new mounting hardware it ships with or can you use the original mounting hardware?

You can use the OEM hardware but I went with ZSpeed's new hardware as those plastic clip are cheap. And my G only had 1000 miles on it. IMO for the cost, its worth getting new.

Complete new standard hardware kits are now included with all the shields we make, There is option for stainless steel hardware if you prefer it.

Get the upgraded kit gentlemen. Trust me it's worth it.

I received mine in two days also. I won't be putting it on until my next oil change, but I'm looking forward to installing it. I'll probably do my serpentine belt at the same time.
