Thanks for the update. I think these are just clunky transmissions. I get noises here and there but they seem pretty consistent. I also took my car to a shop that works on a lot of 350/370Zs and they said it isn't really anything to worry about and overall, these transmissions are pretty solid (aside from the MC and CSC).

I do have what seems like an issue with my clutch though. And after I installed my RJM pedal, I'm getting some funky creaking noise from my clutch that can be felt through the pedal and shifter.

Got my car back today. Dealer replaced my flywheel and resurfaced my front rotors and put new pads all for free! Replacing the flywheel
Solved the issue with the noise coming from the clutch pedal area. Car is so quiet now!

Wow, you don't happen to live in Southern California do you? I need to find a dealer like yours!

< 50K miles. I had a slight grind if I shifted quickly into 6th. I thought it was the syncros and I guess the tech agreed. I am getting a new transmission in a few days and got a new Q50 while waiting. I also mention the loud throw-out bearing which they may examine but no word if they are going to touch it. I asked for new clutch pricing and I was quoted around $2300 with a new flywheel.

Wow so after all that, the problems were never fixed? Could you provide some detail on exactly what issues your car is having?

I think the coupe looks much better than the sedan but the sedan is definitely much more practical. I've always loved driving manual cars but after my G37, my mind might be changing so going to auto doesn't sound all that bad.

problems seemed to have been fixed for a month. ticking/marble noise came back and dealer couldnt figure it out. so problem wasnt fixed. tranny has got extremely loud when clutch is out (not always but about 60% of the time) so i dont know whats wrong with it and neither did the dealer.

Same thing was happening to me. When i would release the clutch pedal while in neutral it sounded like a can of marbles, but if i push the clutch pedal in it went away. Also, i had a whine from 1st gear - 3rd gear. I took my car to dealership on monday and my service advisor said that was not normal and ordered me a new tranny. Got my car back today and sound in neutral and whine is gone.
