Good point also. I do remember problems with them getting out exhausts in a timely manner. Exhausts not turbo kits. Price with lth will shoot this up as well. It seems great n all but as states by Coop this seems more of a kit for a built motor.

Unless its a Jdm, even then. why wait for a domestic manufacturer.

1200 for lth, that no one has except 1 or 2 people off the top of my head.
Availability if anything like the exhaust, fast turn around is not gonna happen.
Won't even bother with telling you how long to get a exhaust.
MONTHS.
No offense, not to excited. Good for you that you like his stuff so much.
No offense but what is wrong with waiting for domestic parts? JDM is a style but doesn't mean it is better than USDM, just a preference of one vs the other. I waited for my exhaust and was given a ship date and wait time and it was delivered on time. Tony is not a major corporation that stocks 1000's of these at a time, and items are built to order, how you want it. He said on the370z that he has sold 600+ exhausts, we are not his only customers. If you have ever delt with him you know he is a straight shooter and very customer oriented. Try calling HKS and talking to the person welding it up and let me know how that goes.

Aside from the product on hand, why not support your "local" guys, vs sending your money overseas. I support the little guys as I work for a family owned business with 5 other employees and we pulled in over 20 million last year. Everyone will have their opinion on having things now vs waiting for something with quality, but just because it didn't come from Japan doesn't make it inferior. Sorry for the rant, just tired of the "it's not JDM so it sucks" attitude anymore. You have a true enthusiast creating new exciting things for the dying scene and you can't wait a month to get it. /rant

I'm willing to bet he will after hes done with the Z guys. Just look at it this way, there are probably more people willing and ready to TT their Z with this kit than with G. It makes sense to appeal to the majority... More people = more money for him

And also lets not forget its not even in production yet, they are still banging some last minute things out. They don't even have dyno numbers for the Z yet

Sure, he loves the g37. Or should I say the $ fi fanboys drop in his lap.
Sorry, but he is no gtm/greddy/hks/precision turbo/etc.,

Dont doubt its a good kit, but it's not proven yet.

The 370 responds alot better to tuning/boost.
You think GTM makes it own turbo's? Only reason FI introduced it on the 370Z first is because its a larger market there. And why is it the 370Z "responds alot better to tuning/boost"?

Nice little closing comment!!
I dont own any FI stuff.
I however was there admiring hand built exhaust, and I think his passion will crossover to the turbos.

If you want hand crafted work, it takes time, FI takes time.

Will you people please stop feeding the trolls so that they just die? It's better to ignore ignorance, intentional misinformation, and abject stupidity than to acknowledge it, that's what it thrives on. Half this thread is already cluttered with responses to obviously ignorant posts based on little knowledge or truth probably made simply to provoke a response. I know it's hard not to address it sometimes (I'm guilty as well) but sometimes ignoring it will make it go away.

Some great updates over on the370. ran an 11.8 1/4 with 7psi off the wastegate spring pressure, 2.5" exhaust, and no boost controller. For a base tune and almost no other additions this is an awesome start. Can't wait to see more!
