Getting Ready GTM 2SC

Ever since I purchased my 09 G37x I have been looking into FI. When GTM announced the twin SC for the G37x I starting getting the car ready. First thing was to open up the exhaust with the Megan Y pipe and Tanabe midpipe both installed NP. Next was to install a guage to monitor A/F, oil pressure, fuel pressure, oil temp, etc etc. The areoforce guage works perfectly, 1 guage does it all set it to scan and the dual display changes at preset intervals. GTM recomended the valve body upgrade. Turn around time less than a week and after an easy r&r what a difference in shifting .... quick and crisp. Next is the twin SC kit.... updates later.

Thanks guys. Gtm has the prices on their website it is around $900. I did the r&r myself to save cost plus the fun factor of doing the work yourself.

Sweet! Someone else to take the plunge with me. Car is at GTM's shop right now for the twin SC. Should have some final results in a few months. I'm much more active on the370z site as that's what I own, but I started posting here a bit since this is a revelation for the awd guys. I wanted this so I can keep my LTH's haha. Not sure if I can use links to another forum, but for now.

They just ran a baseline a few days ago. Funny how I have Tanabe as well. I don't see a lot of guys run it, but with the mid pipe have the same mounting points as stock, it makes it a great upgrade. I'll be watching your build, GL

^^^^ LOL I saw your vid about your car transport almost took out the Tanabe. I like the sound it gives the car. A little attitude without going over the top. With the 2SC kit it will sure have the WOW factor. GL to you as well.

Just a quick update on the the GTM valve body upgrade. Love the way it shifts especially is DS/Manuel mode. Instantly shifts from gear to gear no lag at all. For those that like to DIY you will need these 2 items (pump $13 and a valve attachment $12) to pump the trans oil back into the transmission once the pan is back on. New gasket of course.

To install the J&S Safeguard I wanted to have it accessible yet out of the way so I picked the glove box as it is close the the ECU as well.

Then I wanted to have the wiring harness plug and play so that I could remove and go back to stock in a matter of minutes.

Here it is all installed. Close the glove box and everything is out of the way.
