Exclamation Car wont go past 30-40mph

I was coming back from school when suddenly my car started slowing down to about 40mph. Any lower than that, car feels fine but as soon as I hit about 30 to 40, the car just stops accelerating but it revs the engine as if it was on neutral. Any hepl?

Ur car MT or AT? It seems like your 6th or 7th (if u have 7AT) seems like its out. I remember my friend had his 2nd gear out so he would rev it up really high to skip that gear

While I know it's a hassle but think about it, you will get a new tranny at 56k miles. Not the worst thing that can happen.

I doubt highly it will be a 7AT .... If you own a M37 and the engine goes bad .... would they put the 5.6 in?
