The standard 4 year? It should have been over a few months ago. Or is it included with the powertrain warranty?

roadside is covered by 4 year bumper to bumper. transmission issues would be covered by 6 year powertrain warranty.

I'm not convinced it's your transmission, but that'll get figured out at the dealership anyway. Let us know what it turns out to be!

^ Kidcane nope. 80 miles of 60mph gas saving drive before it died. Stopped by a local mechanic which is right next to my place and they said 4th and 5th gears are dead so idk.

Anyways, update: Car is still under full factory warranty for 3,000 more miles and 5 more months gonna extend it though. Car's already inside being checked out and the guy said he'll call me tomorrow and let me know what's up. They were all complimenting the blue rims xD

I was trying NOT to go there!!! Jesse is cool. lol.

I think his car is rebelling against the rim color! J/K

Glad to see it's covered and a little jealous at a new tranny. Glad you found out relatively quick.

Thanks buddie!

Update: Got the car back today, new tranny (still 5AT). Also I see on the notes that there was burnt transmission fluid and they replaced my exhaust gaskets. Any ideas?

They could not fix my squealing brakes because of aftermarket pads and could not recreate the gas cutting off quick issues. Overall I am just happy to get my car back and it was a pleasure working with Infiniti of Ramsey. Service adviser was great!

To get the trans out, the exhaust has to come off. This applies to the AT and MT models.
