Oil cooler question

My '08 G37 came with one stock. Recently bought a '11 motor with 14000 miles on it in virtually new condition and it didnt have one. Was that stock at sometime and later not or what? Before you ask...I got the new motor because the guy was practically giving it away.....$1500,complete engine.

The G37 does not come with an engine oil cooler stock in any year. Please post a photo of what you think is an engine oil cooler.

I found this pic online. The OP might be confused with that little radiator at the bottom left, which is the Power Steering fluid cooler.

Looks to me that's where your engine oil filter goes.

Just saw this again. I'm not sure what that is to be honest. Where on the car is that located? Where do those lines run to? Auxiliary oil coolers are like the one posted, an air cooled heat exchanger placed in front of the radiator.

Thank you.... so I was right. I wondered often why so many wanted oil coolers when i thought they came with one....although a small one I guess its better than not one. Thanks....WEI. I knew I wasnt crazy.
