09 G37 7AT Tranmission Question...
Hey guys I have a 2009 G37 7AT I bought 3 months ago. Recently when I come to a stop and try to accelerate, the transmission seems to hesitate rpm rises to about 2200, jerks then takes off. It almost seems like its slipping in the lower gears, but once it gets maybe about 3rd it seems fine. Is there anyway to check the transmission fluid to make sure its not low, also is there any way to check if the transmission reprogramming was done or to what version. Please advise I don’t want to take it to dealer unless for reprogram. If need reprogram does the dealer do it for free or charge?

I got mine done and it fixed it for the most part. A month later and about 4,000 miles later its happening again. I have noticed the driving in sport mode basically takes care of the problem. I don't mind driving in sport until I take it in for my next oil change and have them take care of it then.

So i had my mechanic from Nissan check it out and he said Fliuid was about 2 quarts short. We added the fluid, and now car shifts a lot better. Hope that solved this issue.

Yea i think i will take it back to the dealer to see if the TSB has been updated. I think the leak happened with the oil cooler was being changed out, it was kinda of hard to add fluid had to get a long funnel...Thanks everyone
