Wastegate rerouted vs dumped

What's up guys can we get a poll on dumped vs rerouted Wastegate. I remember reading a post in that white g37 built by s and r thread that his open Wastegate was a little obnoxious. Anyone have a video of their 370 or g 37 with a dumped Wastegate?

From what I read, it gets loud and annoying very quickly and are not worth the few horses gained.

I have no personal experience though.

Probably not as obnoxious to the driver as it is to every ear within 1/4 mile, while standing on it.

I have rerouted WG and BOV's.

ive got a ewg on my sti that dumps to atmosphere, its loud as hell. ive had mine for about 3 months and im not annoyed of it. That being said if you dont want someone a few blocks over hearing you gunning it, reroute it.

Another benefit of it being dumped is better boost control than it being rerouted, it just depends if that extra control is worth the noise.

Well I mounted it so if I got annoyed with the dump it would be easy to reroute

Open dumps FTW! Gives you that kick in the pants feel when you're hitting full boost and you know it, I like it but its not for all I guess

Really? ^^^ You'd be VERY enlightened if you took a ride in my quiet 'stealth' car. All that power and half the noise = feels FASTER. Kicks you in the nads.... LOL@!

I have a video that I am not allowed to post here because of restrictions with the forums , but if you go to you tube and type Albert's g37 or g37 pull from 50-120 . You will see and here what it sounds like in my car.
