AT Service Bullietins
I own a 2011 G37 Vert and recently took it in for the 7,500 mi service (actual mi. 3,100. I purchased my car in August 2011. I have been experiencing some of the AT problems outlined in Service Bulletins ITB10-075a and lTB12-027. I brought the Service Bulletins with me (also brought the SB for Bluetooth Phone Quality) and explained the issues I was experiencing. When I picked up my car, they fixed the phone issue but they said my car did not need the AT update. Supposedly my car is already "updated". Although I have been very happy with this dealer, I still question their assessment regarding the AT. Is there anyway I can confirm that I do/do not need the update?
Thanks.
Thanks.

the ITB12-027 came out May 15, 2012, so I would double check on that one. i highly doubt if you come in for warranty work that they will upgrade the transmission ecm to the newest one if you don't ask for it.
what part of socal are you at?
metro infiniti i would take it to ross
infiniti mission viejo i would take it to jerry

I live in Riverside County/ Sun City and have been using Riversidee Infiniti. I asked them for the At update and I brought in the S B with me. They claim I not need the upgrade...it's supposedly already updated so I guess I'll check out Ross at Perry or Jerry at Mission Viejo. Thanks for the info.

Sorry Jasyn,
I obviously mixed up your Dealer/Service Rep recommendations. I will check out Ross at METRO and Jerry at Mission Viejo. Thanks again for the heads up. I'll post later abut the outcome.
And AMNVQ, I was told by my dealer, who I can't vouch if they know for sure, that if I have my car tuned by them after having the UpRev done, I would have to do the UpRev again. However, TVPostSound has the best idea, check directly with UpRev.

I recently took my 11X in and they had to do the trans update. I had to choose between 2 different updates. They know which vehicle needs the update by your VIN. Hope that helps. If you are still having issues take it back when it's doing it and have them test drive it so they can see what your car is doing.
