re-tuning your car?

With just Osiris standard there isn't much you can do, just flash Roms, check/clear codes, and datalog. Pm me if you want to upgrade to the tuner version, that's the only one that lets you view/edit the actual tune.
I've been following that thread on the 370 forum as well... Sounds like complete
BS, I wouldn't be surprised one bit if someone was trying to
Sell somebody something with those stories... Maybe a shop that can't tune uprev thats trying to scare people away from it? People are gullible and 90% of the VQ drivers out there would probably believe it lock stock n barrel if a
"shop owner" told them..

I changed from Berk hfc's to ART pipes and an XYZ-pipe, and retuned one of my maps.
I think that, the re-tuned map(5) may have been the issue as the guys who re-tuned were not the original tuner's. Im guessing, but they are also the guys who many others were experiencing issues with tuning and the state.
Beyond that, it has occurred in the evo and srt 4 communities for having rom id's changed.
I can't accurately tell why mine failed. 1. no cats. 2. Tuned rom disabling/bypassing OBD readiness?
I just don't know for sure.

not sure its really true,You have codes disabled right. That thread was about a stock car with just a flash. I would still like to see a car with everything just flashed fail. ??

I have passed the prior two years with HFC and orginal tunes. I swapped out HFC for Art pipes and added an xyz-pipe and retuned. It may have been due to the re-tune.
Or other theory is that looking back on my prior year printouts, Catalyst heater/ Cat monitors either showed up as N/A or not supported. My guess is successive years of this and this being the 3rd year, it finally caught up to me.

I went to emissions a couple weeks ago and it passed without any problems. I'm running no tune with test pipes and HKS replica Tru dual catback. U thought without a tune it'll fail but it didn't

Incorrect. I have passed while tuned previously.
And I am talking about Massachusetts state inspection. There have been changes where they are cracking down on tuned vehicles. They can now tell if a ROM has been flashed by checking the Rom Id.
It can either be the fact the ROM id was changed(during my re-tune) or the readiness of the OBD sensors which may have been bypassed to avoid an engine light due to ART pipes. Without undoing one or the other and re-testing I can't be sure which is the trigger without speculating.
Problem is I have to go for re-test and likely need to be reverted to stock all around in order to pass DOT inspection.
