6MT Clutch?

6MT Clutch?
Hi Guys,
I have a clutch question. I bought an '08 sport 6MT used about a year ago.It now has about 45,000mi on it. Lately I've been noticing the transmission actually engages high in the clutch pedal stroke. Much closer to the top than the floor. I've never driven another 6MT, so I have nothing to compare mine to.
Is this some thing I should be worried about? Is it adjustable? Is this the begining of the end, should I start saving for repairs?
Thanks for your feedback,
Bump

That's strange to me, mine is still about the same as it's 1st month break in and is pretty low still... Now at 70,000 miles. Each one of my manual cars has gone over 100,000 on the original clutch. Don't ride it. Don't hold the pedal down at stops that will take more than 10 seconds. Don't use your clutch to prevent you from rolling back on an incline (hills etc.). Use fast shifting action from gear to gear, even when cruising.
If you follow this from day 1, everything should be OK. Buying a pre-owned car, you just don't know how the clutch was treated and you can't get that in a car-fax... Good luck bro. I hope it lasts a long time.
