IPL + Stillen Gen 3 + Tune

Been posting a bit in people's related threads, but I just got the Stillen Gen 3 Intakes installed and a UpRev tune at Z Car Garage this weekend. Rob was awesome enough to Dyno the stock, final, and between upgrades (intake, then intake+tune). I've already posted the incremental Dynos in the Dyno section (page 6), but I just got the before and after runs today, so here's some pics, the last dyno.

Thought this might deserve it's own thread just to make it easier to find searches.

Nice dyno. Good gains for sure from just the tune and intake. Wonder how high it will jump if you do something else to it.

Congrats!

That's not bad at all. Add some test pipes or HFCs now.

Thanks folks! Always seems like there are so few IPLs (wait I think that was part of the appeal for some), I figured getting some hard numbers out there would be informative - I was relieved I was able to get some decent gains. Butt dyno agrees with the charts. The earlier and smoother tq delivery is definitely noticeable.

As for test pipes... I'm in Cali, so a little less inclined. And I'm also trying to avoid replacing the IPL specific parts of the car. Haha, other than tune - stock tunes don't take up storage space. Very modest mod dreams...

Tazicon, the stock numbers are on the chart on this thread. Unless you count tint

I know it's the gains that count, but it's still nice to appear to have broken 300whp.

ahhhhh ok so you gained close to 17hp with the stillen and the tune. Thats not bad at all. Glad to see someone do this on an IPL. I was curious as to how much it would improve.

Good thread. I also have an IPL.
I have the Malbec Black 2011 IPL. I have the ARk exhaust, stilen gen 3 intake... and looking to do an upre tune as well.

Im am actually looking to upgrade headers and possibly high flow cats a well, before I get tuned. Tuning is the last step for me.

solid numbers! I have been shopping intakes/hfc's for my 2012 IPL. Was going to get the new Greddy intake system but those numbers from stillen are impressive. Pair those with some HFC's and I bet that dyno would read at least 315.

Can you post links for the Greddy intake system.

I never seen or heard of this intake system.
