Does this dyno number seem a bit much??
i compiled this video right now....
It seems like similar cars with my mods are making around 295-300 whp ...... did i reallyyy gain 61 hp through an uprev tune???
To my knowledge, a dyno dynamics dyno is on the low side like a mustang dyno also... 331rwhp is awesome!
2008 G37 Uprev Tuned on a dyno. CAI, HFC, Magnaflow exhaust - YouTube
EDIT CORRECTION...... the gain was 41 hp through the tune... NOT 61

it pulled 270 base with them mods.. no tune.. he said the afr was all over the place.... brought it up to 291.... then played with the fuel a little more and timing.. final results were 331.2 to the wheels... torque i believe was 245.....
i decided to try a pull with my friends c5 corvette.. and well.. to my surprise i pulled 2 cars on him.....
if 331 hp is about 388 to the crank.... i deff feel it could be capable of 400 to the crank! im gonna do the manifold, headers, and pulleys next and retune it...
oh and... my valet mode is set to 4mph... lmao

You can measure wheel HP or crank HP but not both. Stick to measuring gains in wheel HP becasue you can only guess what the actual crank HP is.
You gained 21 HP from just the mods, then another 40 from the tune. Those are good numbers IMO.
If swapping racing stories make sure they occur on a track, street racing talk is not allowed here.

What tuner did you go with and who did it?

Yes 342 with headers, pulley, the intake plenum seems very possible considering your earlier gains. Keep in mind that the M370 may actually lose a couple HP at peak but has great gains under the curve through the entire powerband where you actually drive every day. It's more a mod for usable real HP rather than dyno bragging peak HP.

As you can seee, I edited my earlier post becasue as soon as I posted it I saw your other post. Just measure wheel HP. You're only guessing at crank HP and it gets confusing comparing one to the other. Keep your numbers and comparisons consistent.

Ok big correction i must make.. i was a bit off on the beginning numbers..... 291 was baseline with the mods on my car... the final numbers after the tune were 331.2 hp.. still 40 hp was nicee

not typical and since that dyno reads high the people that work there might calibrate it to read high so it makes them look good. its more common than people think. its not a big deal but just dont be surpised if people with same mods or more and have less power doubt yours...unless its the same dyno on the same day (weather) i feel there should always be an * when comparing.

I can off the bat assume that he calibrated his dyno high???
Edit.... txt message
"I told you my dyno reads low lol im always upfront about my work to avoid situations like these. I was surprised you made that much power myself but numbers dont lie. i even had another customer there looking at what i was doing that would've called me out if i were trying to be slick"
