Question DOwnshift jerk

Hey all...i have a 2009 g37x which i just purchased used and i feel a slight jerk when i ease off the gas...once it hits around 20mph that slight jerk happens. Any ideas what it could be or how i can cure it...or even if its normal....anything will help!

There's a TSB to have the transmission reprogrammed. Supposedly it stops after the ecu flash. Haven't done mine yet.

"Technical Service Bulletin" it is a term for notices that dealerships get from Inifniti about issued related to the cars. Yes, you have to go to the dealership and have them re-program the "computer".

Is the warranty covered or a free service?

You should probably just call Your nearest Infiniti dealer.

Infiniti calls it an ITB.

By the way, it's supposed to do that. It downshifts as if you were driving a manual transmission car. That is, it tries to always be in the right gear as opposed to sloshing along the way a normal automatic does.

Try it for a while and see if you "get it." You only need the reprogramming if there are rough shifts (up or down).

I got mine done and it helps but it doesnt completely go away but it is much smoother. I have rwd but I dont think that matters too much. and dont let them charge you mine was free.
