Hey guys, i apologize if this isnt in the correct section.

I have been doing a ton of research about these grounding kits, which i have installed on many of my past cars. Its obvious that some people are experiencing a problem with the battery draining after installing a grounding kit, whether that problem actually exists or is just a coincidence seems to be up in the air. It seems like the "way to play it safe" is to install the kit to all of the various engine components, just dont connect the negative directly to the body/chassis, although im pretty sure if you connect, as an example, the throttle body to the negative it would be the same thing as connecting the negative to the body/chassis.

I know the issue was a component somewhere downstream of the negative battery terminal, which tells the computer how to charge the battery, and connecting the negative straight to body or chassis bypasses it.

Im wondering if just connecting the other components that the grounding kit instructions says, and not connecting anything directly to the battery would have the same or similar effect.

I have been searching on this forum, as well as doing google searches, and cant seem to determine if that would work or not.

Any help would be appreciated.
