As far as the mass air flow meter is concerned, as long as both intake charge pipes are evenly matched in length and size you should be fine.

Where are you at in Tampa? You should hook up with the FGC. We do several local events and there are some good FI resources in the club.
yea, i know! your friend had gone through a lot because of that project! it really sucks to see how it came down at the end.

These are some good photos of a single turbo kit which is positioned differently then almost everything else out there.

It's an interesting arrangement and pretty to look at but "real world" performance wise it's a terrible design.... nothing like having your cold pipe lying right on top of your exhaust turbine to boost performance!

To you it might be a terrible design but at the end of the day its about results and reliability!

And where you going to place it? because im scratching my head trying to figure this one out.

and you stated that you built cars before. i'm assuming over 800 since you posted for 800 whp im assuming?

What kind of tires were you running?

but best of luck to u. if ur going to be pushing that much power, why dont u goto TX2K12. go on the supra forums and enter your car.
i've entered but i think im one of the slowest cars on the list. oh well.

But lets get down to reality, i expected this response from everyone thats why i posted this. This just modivates me more now. Im not going to sit here and say its an easy and cheap project to achieve cause i know its not . Ive been down this road with a different car and was able to achieve my goals on a larger scale. Now its time to do it with different car.
And yes, its going to be a single turbo.
1st phase is to start my engine build on another block , just pistons and rods will be upgraded.
While thats going on we are going to custom fit a single turbo without having to remove or lift the engine.
Im looking to achieve around 550-600 on the stock block.
2nd phase will be swapping out the stock motor for the built one and turning up the boost on e85.
Im trying to keep this low key, so
I will keep you guys posted on the project.
Thanks ,

what size turbo are you planning to get? cuz u going to have a lotta lag.
with that type of power what kind of tires you planning on running?

66mm huh? From which turbo company?

But I'm still curious about what type of tires u running or going to be running. Better what kind of tires u ran on ur previous build, since u mentioned it.

If u didn't want to reveal anything why bring up the subject? I'm only interested because I'm doing a massive build myself. But the differance here is I'm willing to share with the community. I figure someone else might know more about this than I. So I'm always open to others input.

Since u told me 66mm. I never heard of 66mm size before to tell u the truth.
I ordered with my tuner 2 gtx3582r's with a t3 housing.

But what engine management system u planning to go with. U say uprev I'm calling bs on it.

Also u going to tx2k12? Never answered that either.

i never said you had uprev. i said if u go with uprev im call bs on it. uprev is a ****ty *** engine management. thats soley my opinion that cant really handle much.

but what tires were you pushing on your other build? rims theres nothing to research on that. dont be cheap, get semi or fully forged wheels. so when your **** pops your still rolling on ur rims. instead of getting ****ty *** rims that crack.

so if u change your mind or have no clue what tx2k is here is the supra forums.
Who's going to Tx2k12??

if you dont like reading here is a video that took 9 months to make. my buddies cars are in here.

we represent Tay's shop.

CO:NOLA TX2K11 - YouTube

So again and again, what kinda tires were you running on your last build?

and wise words from haltech if you were going to say you have haltech right now.

Currently we do not offer an ECU that can properly drive the VVEL. The G37/370Z/350Z HR ECU should be available around May/June 2012, it will control the DBW throttle and the VVEL as a Pro-Plug-In style ECU with no additional modules necessary.

Thanks,
Manager: Haltech USA

WHAT TIRES WERE YOU RUNNING ON YOUR LAST BUILD BRO!?
