Zackly!~

BTW, my rims fit my 2012 Mustand GT. I've been using the same ones, however I ordered and fitted the concentric rings to ensure good fitment.

You my have a friend with these.

130 is REALLY powerful.

BTW: Fast Intentions got a 370Z into the tens two weeks ago. It's going to happen.

I DO wish you well on this round, but I'm sarcastic because anyone who extracts knowledge, asks for advice, imparts advice, and then holds their cards closely when things go wrong isn't educating the 'community'.

There was a LOT of early discussion in this thread of how valid 600+whp would be on an OEM engine, and NOW your allowance confirms what the community has pointed to: over 500 whp on these engines is perilous.

Mine didn't stand up, and it had built components. My car is long gone, but my appreciation for this forum runs strong.

Good luck. Please keep us posted with your successes.

I don't post here much but I have to jump in here.

There are several FI TT 370Z that are pushing over 600whp on a stock block. Given they are running E85 but it's still possible. The current FI record holder is pushing ~650whp and all he does is track it. Been running strong for a year or so with no issues.

The 500whp number is out of date. There are many stock blocks pushing over 500whp with no issues. There are also a bunch of FI blocks that have let go at under 500whp. The key is good kit design, good tuning and good fuel setup.

E85 is key. Probably ZERO detonation inclination.

I hope you're more right than the 'old' conservative figure.

Thanks.

Yes, 370Z. Unless they have tuned one higher since that I missed its djtodd (659whp/589wtq). He got the car delivered April14 and has been tracking it ever since.

I'm running 503wh/465wtq on my single turbo and have been for about a year. No track time but it's not my DD so when it comes out it gets driven hard.

BTW: I now own a 2012 Mustang GT. Sorry.

I was STUNNED to hear that a fellow has run 8.68 @ 154 with a STOCK longblock and auto trans. (Twin turbo and a torque converter added, among other mods.)

It's a relief knowing there is plenty of strength in an engine: VQ 3.7 or Coyote 5.0.

WOW! That is nuts for a stock block! Two 6266's are definitely no joke.

Yep have to agree with this. Hellion makes a kit that bolts to the stock headers. Stock exhaust, headers, intake... Everything stock expect adding the TT kit. Made 730whp at 7 psi on a 5.0 mustang. Crazy...

Now you did it. I looked up Hellion and the more I saw the more I wanted. YIKES!

Their 5.0 kit includes a header and more. At $8900 it's not for the faint of pocket. At +700whp it's not for the faint of heart.

Mine has been ordered.

Albert: How is this car doing? At 130mph it has the potential to be the quickest Infiniti in the world.

Fluid makes a badass kit too. Just know that you can't compare 5.0 to a VQ. That's the case we have the VK56.

Not really that true I am currently doing a single turbo custom via a company in my area that does custom racing enhancements. I am getting stage 3+ clutch along with single turbo and paying around 7k for tuning and turbo. I am also going to have them install a AEM standalone for an extra 500$. I should be at around 450hp at the wheel. Perfectly logical for daily driver as well.

A stage 3 clutch is overkill for 450whp
