I love the video, funny as ****! lol!!
But lets get down to reality, i expected this response from everyone thats why i posted this. This just modivates me more now. Im not going to sit here and say its an easy and cheap project to achieve cause i know its not . Ive been down this road with a different car and was able to achieve my goals on a larger scale. Now its time to do it with different car.
And yes, its going to be a single turbo.
1st phase is to start my engine build on another block , just pistons and rods will be upgraded.
While thats going on we are going to custom fit a single turbo without having to remove or lift the engine.
Im looking to achieve around 550-600 on the stock block.
2nd phase will be swapping out the stock motor for the built one and turning up the boost on e85.
Im trying to keep this low key, so
I will keep you guys posted on the project.
Thanks ,

Where do you propose to place the single turbo???
What tuning solution do you plan to use???

I think it would be wise to "stand on the shoulders" as it were of those that have come before you when tuning this engine configuration.
Twins will get you to your power goals so why reinvent the wheel with running a laggy single turbo, also piping and MAF sensors that will measure the air flow that you are proposing will be an issue to figure out on your own... GTM has paved the way here, talk to Sam and have him hook you up with what you need..

if you are set on this, and is serious about the build, please go thru some of the single turbo builds on the 370z/350z forums, weiboy's link is one of the most well documented custom single turbo build, but there are many more with different turbo locations. wish you luck on this project and keep updating

there are pros and cons to single vs twins but in this case we are no where near the ceiling of what these gtm twins are capable of so why do a single just to prove a point?? why waste the time and money to try and get the single setup to work and why give the ecu all the extra work to try and meter air/fuel on two banks from a single pipe

If Stillen can make it work with their S/C setup i'm sure it can be done with a single turbo setup. nothing is impossible just gotta find the perfect placement for the turbo so it doesn't melt anything along the way

Single turbo is much more cost efficient and easier to handle. How nice would it be to just lift your hood unbolt the vClamp and switch to another turbo

That is my friend Ryan's car and he has had, we will say, some issues. BUT he was not on a built motor.

Where are you at in Tampa? You should hook up with the FGC. We do several local events and there are some good FI resources in the club.
