Vtuner made it fat up top and get the timing very conservative to account for the intake air temperatures. I will eventually go with the air-to-air kit with ECU Tech tuning but for now I will leave it where it is at. Once I do there to air and the ECU Tech I would hope to be a lot closer to 500 wheel horsepower

Got any videos of the tial? I was debating on switching my turbosmart out for something else. Seb also has the auto hack if you happen to not have a 6spd.

If you do go A-A and EcuTek, trust me you will be well over 500whp. If you do E85, you should be around 600s.

No I don't have any videos of the blow off valve, you don't hear it unless it's under load, so it's hard to get a video of the sound. It is not a high pitch event, but it is very loud and low. I would definitely love to get an E85 tuna but there isn't really anywhere on the East Coast to buy E85. I will definitely be doing the air-to-air and the ECU Tech within the next year and I will definitely let you guys know the results. I'm interested to see the results of your air to air kit due to the fact that the SI upgrade and the 2.95 pulley ( the max speed of the blower) was $500 for the upgrade. If you have the ECU Tech and the air-to-air kit it should be relatively cheap for you to break 500 wheel horsepower

Take a vid if you can. I was going to swap out for a Tial, but the 370z guys who have the Tial QRJ told me it's so loud you can hear it down the block.

BTW, if you happen to ever swap to A-A, you should be able to run at least the 2.87 pulley. You shouldn't have any issues overspinning the unit a bit. I'll be running that pulley on the stock SCI trim. I'll ask the shop to take some pics for me, so I can update you guys on the build.

Pulley

Just curious, I got the 2.75 (9psi) pulley from Stillen (haven't installed it), I have heard it does overspin the V3 SC, where are you all getting the 2.85? Vortech? If so is it 7 Rib?

Milkcow, did the air to air fit at least without modification from the kit as shipped? You on to tuning now? I saw an update from Evanosteen on Insta, hes amidst tuning now, however I don't think he's dyno tuning it, so not sure we will see #'s anytime soon =(. Please god tell me you are going to dyno tune it?

Whoops sorry. I meant the 2.75" pulley. I keep getting it mixed up because one person actually ran a 2.87" on the 370 forums, but he doesnt know where he got the pulley from lol. Slightly overspinning the unit ok, since it only really does it at WOT. Mustangs have been overspinning their V3 units with no issues. You never hear about people blowing seals on the V3 anyways, since the engine usually gives out first.

The shop is actually routing the piping now. They ran into some fitment issues, but I think they might've done something wrong. I'm waiting for pics, so I can know for sure. Seb is road tuning Evan's car, which is why it takes a bit longer. I think they are having some gearing issues right now. I'll be having Seb tune mine, but on a mustang dyno. I'll keep you guys updated.

I have the tial qr, not qrj. And it can't be heard down the block at all... it's just enough that I can hear it slightly with my window up in 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. Very low pitched and I love it

that's a cool wheel. Beefy and extreme contours. One of a kind.
