Matte Black Stillen Gen3 Intakes
So i just bought the following custom Intakes off of RaulG:
Only problem is....im debating on selling them off, although i just picked them up on Sunday...or going through the efforts of putting them on the G.
I currently have Injen Intakes, that im pretty happy with.
I have no clue how to install parts, so doing it myself is out of the question...and installing i heard is not only difficult, but currently impossible for me, as my AKX lip is covering screws that are necessary to get to in order to take the bumper off. Id have to drill holes underneath the bumper to get to the screws.
Options are:
A) sell the intakes that i just bought
B) trade the intakes for possibly a Carbon Fiber Hood (which i really dont want)
C) spend the $$$ to have them installed (upwards of $120)
What would you do, if you were in my shoes?

My question is: Considering that you don't want to put them on and that you're happy with your current intakes, why did you buy these for? Sell them. I'm sure somebody would want the sick matte black finish.

Impulse buy. I drove about 60 miles to pick these up, because install was going to be $50. Once i got there, we found out that he couldnt put them on without drilling the lip. So not thinking, i ended up taking them, without having them installed, which is the whole reason i drove that far. lol.

Its a fiber glass lip, attached with 3M adhesive tape (i think) and drilled in underneath. Body shop doesnt really want to attempt to take it off.
Do other lip kits come off easily without damaging the lip?

Use a heat source (sun, heat gun) and warm the adhesive up and it will make it easier to pull the lip off. I would use two people for this method. If its thick fiberglass i dont see it cracking too easy.
But, it sounds like your way to iffy and also would suggest just selling them

Honestly i do think i want to sell it. I just need around 20 more posts so i can hit up those Classified.

You only have to take off the front grill, not the whole bumper. I installed mine without taking off the bumper. Was kinda tedious getting the driver's side in without scratching it up, but get a razor blade and slowly cut away what you need to.
