Acceleration into a parking spot on the brake

Hi guys, I have an 08 g37 sport with around 50,000 miles & recently I have noticed when I pull into a parking spot or parallel parking my car lunges forward while I am on the break, anyone else experiencing this?

I should be able to reproduce it for a mechanic if I need to. I want to make an appointment and bring it to the dealer, but the last 2 times I've called, they were not familiar with what could be causing this.

Thank you,

Shane

Same car, same problem, not just when i'm parking, even when i'm cruising at low speed or driving slow in traffic, I notice the RPM jumping up and down between 1000 and 1500!! it's as if u're trying to tame the beast when she just wants to go loose haha If anyone has this problem or knows why, please let us know..thanks

I was thinking that too or dirty air filters? could that cause any of these issues?

No. Just poor performance and gas mileage.

There's a TSB for 08's on this problem. Vehicle rpm's increase 500-1000 when coming to a stop. Took my dealer about 45 minutes to fix it.

It's bulletin #277579. If your car is doing the same thing mine was the fix will also quiet your engine. Mine was making a hell of a lot of noise before they reflashed it. Purrs like a kitten now.

Sorry, use ITB07-048b. Quote from ITB. "Intermittent/short duration small rpm increase during braking".
You can find all of the tsb's at http://www.infinityg37.com/Infinity-...Bullitins.html

Leave out the three periods before Bullitins.html For some reason it won't let me type it in the correct way. It keeps changing it.

Seriously... Even a site specializing on Infiniti's spelled it incorrectly. *sigh*

Oops, my bad. This is a prime reason why you don't answer a post at 1:45 a.m. after taking a pain pill. But in my defense I was trying to help a guy out. I didn't see you chiming in Mayu or do you just troll to give people S$%T.

My car was doing that also.. I started putting ONLY premium gas from brand name gas stations like Shell and Chevron. It doesnt do it anymore.
