g37 bogging at low speeds

hi yall i bought my g37 about a month ago, i live in houston so traffic in the morning is crazy, with that said i have been noticing that my g37 boggles down at low speeds is this a common problem ? and is it normal? my g37 is an automatic i believe 5 speed with the sport package. at higher speeds i have no problem this only occurs at low speeds its pretty damn annoying considering the price of these cars...is this something the warranty can fix? thanks yall...

This happens with the 7AT, not sure about the 5AT. Sometimes the rpm goes down to 1k in slow city driving, then there's a lag when you press gas.

What year is your G? If it's an 09 or newer, there are tons of threads covering sluggish, unresponsive and slow-shifting and various other transmission issues. In this case, search is your friend. If it's an 08 or older, I haven't heard of many issues at all in with that transmission. Good luck.

The 2009 and newer are 7 speed automatics, the 2008 and older were 5 speed automatics...most folks here seem to prefer the 5 speed. Hope this helps.

There's no fix for it yet for the 7AT. Check on infinitihelp if there's a TSB for the 5 speed autos.

This is normal for the 5AT, I believe. I've talked to a dealer about it. It's the synchro-rev-match thingy trying to do its thing. I feel a jerk at slower speeds in 5th when releasing and pressing the throttle. Its just an annoyance, really. Nothing more.
