QX56/Fx50 transmission swap?
Hey guys,
I was doing some research and it seems that the g37 transmission is a little different than the qx56 (2011+) and Fx50 (2009+)
We use the Jatco Tranmission and nissan has labeled them as RE7R01A and The QX and FX use RE7R01B, Anyone have a clue if they are interchangeable? Would help with all the 7Ats that want to go TT/SC since the QX and FX transmissions are rated for higher HP/TQ

Hey, every case is different. There are some people running twin turbo's and 7at with zero problems. I understand your concern but if it ain't broken don't change it. You shouldn't have to spend unnecessary money on another transmission. So far I've only heard of 3 cases of failed 7at. if you wanna have fun, use manual mode especially when you're in the upper gears.

I'm thinking of only really pushing the car 1-4 gears. I do plan to upgrade the tranny though using gtms upgrades. But I was curious as to the options of a qx/fx tranny could Provide. Also I know of 2 incidents who is the 3rd?

That guy blueTT is running twins and 7at. No issues with his car that I know of. He recently sold the car already but still roams the forum from time to time.
