Adding Paddle Shifters to 2009 G37x?
I thought I had read some information about adding paddle shifters to non-S cars on here, but I wasn't able to find the thread after some searching.
I'm still working on convincing the wife that a 2 door will work, but I think I can persuade her...
I think I should get AWD for the amount of snow we get up here and also for getting up the steep dirt road to the family cabin. However, I also really want the paddle shifters.
Has anyone added paddle shifters to a G37x, specifically a 2009 model? What was involved, and how much did it cost?
A new 2011 xS just isn't remotely in our budget...

I had them installed in my 2010. There are a few posts around here on it.
First, here's a D-I-Y on G35Driver. It's the same for the 37s:
DIY: Installing Sport paddles - G35Driver
Next, there are several places you can order paddle shifters from. I chose to get mine from OC Infiniti. Here's a link:
Parts - Parts Department
Finally, there are ways you can check to see if you're car is already pre-wired for them, and if not, there's a D-I-Y around here or G35Driver about how to make your own. Odds are if you're driving a 2009 or 2010, you'll probably be pre-wired already, as long as you're not driving the base model. Hope that helps.
