eliminate lag?

anyone have any ways to help eliminate lag? i drive a 2010 g37x coupe and i just hate when i will pull up to a stop sign slow down and then when i try to speed up the car just wont go. or when im switching lanes and i am trying to speed up and once again the car just wont go. i have found that driving in sport mode helps a lot but i was wondering if anyone else knew any techniques to get rid of this. the car is unfortunately a lease so i cant really do any modding. thanks in advance!

Grounding kit and a good voltage stabilizer help shift the gears faster when u step on the gas therefore reeducing the lag that we feel .

You can dis-connect your battery over night to re set ecm... That should be done twice a year, anyways IMO... really worked for me, especially concerning trans performance... Also there is an aftermarket speed throttle sensor that's plug and play that I've heard good things about...GL

dealership reprog did nothing for me. Fixed the issues for a week or so and then they just came back.

Its a recall for the dealership.
Blitz throttle control gets rid of engine lag.
Or get an uprev tune, they get the trans to work really smooth.

Or get a 6mt when lease is up (sport mode 24/7=less lag)

for quick fix go with BB groundkit>hypertch or blitz>uprev ( only w/bolt-ons not worth it if your stock).

I'll be the first to admit that grounding wires (mine included) will help but will not completely fix the problem. They will make it better though.

why would disconnecting the battery reset the ECU? and what benefit is there to doing that? Is it to eliminate any memory of driving style?

I got the tsb done for the transmission reprogram and hypertech. Still definitely feel the lag when coming to a slow down or stop and giving the gas again. Car jerks violently after like 1-2 seconds after depressing the accelerator pedal. Nature of the beast, I guess...
