I know mine was when I put my Southbend Stage 2 on. Night and day difference with the stock clutch. It's a great daily driver clutch, but you won't hold the clutch pedal in at stop lights any longer.

Did you look at upgrading the slave cylinder while you are down there? I saw a vendor on here that had a really nice upgrade... can't remember the name... Oh yeah, this:

I have the Southbend Stage 3 + billet steel flywheel + HD CSC and I don't find it particularly all that stiff. It has a much better overall feel and lower and more gradual engagement. And it grips like a ****.

You will kick yourself for not doing it sooner.

you're the 1st i've heard with problem. i'll keep that in mind and post back

edit: you're right! there are many people complained about that shifter rattles at high rpm. i'm wondering if a heavier shift **** will help out? i got a tommy kaira heavy baby **** coming from soon.

hehe, good question and i have the definate answer for you.

it's because i am a broke a$$ fool modding on a really low budget on top of that i probably don't need a twin clutch setup altho i wanted to get the SPEC Super Twins in the beginning and was convinced i didn't need it so that's why i leaned towards the Southbend setup which i can afford. there's actually quite a few people running their kit and got nothing but great reviews. whether it's the G forum or the Z.

we'll see what happens after it get's installed this weekend, i probably won't see it's full potential till it's completely broken into.

man, don't blame yourself on that. you TOTALLY had no control over what had happened and you did the right thing by going turbo just went to the wrong shop.

What's the difference between the Southbend TZR clutch and say the Southbend TZ stage 3?

update: I guess it's the lighter weight disc?
