Got My New....

hehe, good question and i have the definate answer for you.
it's because i am a broke a$$ fool modding on a really low budget on top of that i probably don't need a twin clutch setup altho i wanted to get the SPEC Super Twins in the beginning and was convinced i didn't need it so that's why i leaned towards the Southbend setup which i can afford. there's actually quite a few people running their kit and got nothing but great reviews. whether it's the G forum or the Z.
we'll see what happens after it get's installed this weekend, i probably won't see it's full potential till it's completely broken into.

update!!! everything went in smooth except it took a good ol 3hrs just to bleed the clutch. it's probably because the heavy duty CSC that was playing a little hard to get lol. after a simple phone call to Joe@Zspeed we were able to tackle it within 45mins. first impression is the clutch is nice and smooth. power picks up a tad faster now due to the slightly lighter flywheel. the pedal is not heavy at all and is very daily driveable.
we installed the B&M short shifter at the same time and ran into a slight issue because the damn manual told us not to reuse the stock triangle plate. that plate is very important, it's there so you can't slide it farther than 5th gear and accidently into 6th gear. i just fixed it by installing the stock plate back on there and now is all good!
i'll update back later after some more miles has put into it!

right now, idk if my lines still has air in it or not cuz the engagement point is sometimes high and low. pretty hard to get in gear. wondering if it's part of the break in process or not. if anyone here has similar setup with the Zspeed CSC pls chime in

hows your b&m, does it rattle? Or are do you still have to baby it a bit for the break in. and also, w/ using the stock triangle plate, does yours go past 5th at all? Like mine has a good inch that it can go by 5th, and its somewhat difficult to pick 5th up because of that

The reason why your 5th and 6th gear goes past it is because your lockout plate is adjusted too far right. WHat you wanna try doing is put it into 5th gear and adjust the plate so it touches the lock out pin then tighten down the screws. Make sure you can get into all gears smoothly before tighten it tho or else you'll have to redo it
