Ark sounds great but had slight fitment issues and if you have hfc and test pipes rasp like a mother.. Fast intentions fits perfect but once again rasps and has a slight drone with hfc or test pipes. If you keep it stock other than the catback the ark in my opinion has a better tone...

HKS Hi Power?
You did not mention if price was a concern. If it is not, you might want to consider HKS in your comparison since it is my understanding that the ARK and HKS systems are very similar.
Full Disclosure: I just installed the HKS system and have heard neither the ARK or the FI systems. (Love the HKS system so far, though).
GL in any event.

Personally I hate the sound of the HKS when compared to the ARK for rasp and other reasons. It may be a copy on some levels but I'd take it over the "real thing" any day.
I have Berk HFCs with my ARK and have absolutely zero rasp through the entire band. I've heard similar setups to mine on the FI exhaust and like them just as much.
It's personal preference really... I think the FI is a more of that "muscle" and rumble sound, where the ARK seems to retain some of the stock exhaust note while at the same time giving the car a deep, throaty tone.

Just get HKS or go home! but i agree, Ark does sound deeper and throatier and louder than HKS. Not sure with HFCs or TPs tho. I have HKS with test pips and I love the sound.
yeap that's true. it's never balanced, in all the pictures I seen and also in person I seen.

I would not say that this is a copy of HKS. We made this to stay away from its original design. There are only so many ways to make an exhaust system with the OEM underbody. The position of the dual chamber must be put in that position in order to utilize the chamber completely. In addition, there are many reasons why our exhaust sounds different. The thickness of the pipe, the Xflow Chamber, The perforated core and chambers used in our resonators are all the variables that make our system truly different.
We have done R&d on our end to back this up as well.

Since when HKS had rasp?
I had one and tried it and lemme tell you that it sound like a monster who is seeking for food,
but returned it due fitments issue because of the 4WAS
PS: HKS have now new Mid pipe that fits with 4WAS
