driving your car, in general, isn't "good for your car." mashing the gas, isn't good for your car. holding your brake and mashing on the gas isn't good for your car. all that power has to go somewhere, right? bad for transmission, yes.

then again, you can't baby your car...all the damn time. mine sees 5k daily. lol

Did anyone notice he said AWD? I don't think he's going to be doing any "burnouts" maybe some wheel chirping at best

How do you honestly think its possible for all wheels to lose traction? Burnouts in AWD are not possible.

i heard that there is a way to turn off the AWD all the time, and it goes into rwd mode only
but not sure how tho, sounds something more technical ..

Nope, not happening. The AWD is ALWAYS on, it just becomes more RWD biased when the computer senses the front wheels are slipping.

With enough power, it is definitely possible for all four wheels to lose traction, just probably not with a stock AWD G.

It most certainly CAN be done. The AWD can be defeated, requires the removal of a fuse and maybe something else, can't recall off the top of my head. It's been done before and described before on this site.

No burnouts are going to happen in an AWD G37. If you mash the gas even with a power brake w/ vdc off, you 'might' get a chirp, but that's it. What's the point of doing a burnout anyways... maybe you should've got a rwd G instead.
