switching modes

hey guys do you know if its harmful if i switch from d to ds mode while the car is in motion? or should i be at a stop before i switch it to ds mode? tried lookin in the manual but no mention of this anywhere. thanks!

not only is it not harmful. It is the way it is ment to work as well. You are in the clear buddy. now mash that right foot and enjoy

I always do it!!
As I posted elsewhere today, if you have paddles, stay in D, downshift with the paddle, while you mash the throttle!!! It will up shift for you afterwords.

Yea, i think its perfectly fine to do it too, i've been doing that all these times and no issues.

All it does is it will drop a gear. At least mine does.
