All my dash lights came on.. what the dealer said
Went to the dealer because whenever i turned my wheel 3/4 of the way to the left, all my dash lights would come on.
250 dollars laters, they determined that "the mount for the ABS sensor on my coilovers was misaligned and was pulling the sensor wheny ou turned the wheel". Makes sense...
Dealer: "So i swapped the "Bad" sensor to the other side, and the problem persisted, you need a new ABS sensor... the sensor is 499.99 and you must prepay if you decide to order it, it will cost 200 to instal and 250 to make it mount properly on the coilovers"
Me: **** no, ill buy the sensor myself
So i googled it, found the sensor for 170$
When i drove the car home, no matter what i did the lights wouldnt come on. did the mechanic fix it, but thought i would spring for a new sensor anyways? i dont know but for now, its fixed. I have yet to take off my wheels and look at what they did but so far so good.

But why would the ABS sensor cause ALL the dash lights to come on? Sounds like some BS to me. A quick way to charge you for service just because you modified their stock baby.
I'm no service tech, but if it's working and you don't have any more issues then be happy. If the sensor is bad and they told you it needed to be replaced, how is it working now?
Good luck with this and keep us updated since this is something truly unique.

Bad ABS sensor will cause the dash lights to go off. Whenever there is a malfunction with the ABS, VDC, or EBD, the dash lights come on.
So it sounds like the ABS sensor was installed improperly but was not damaged. After the dealership realigned it, the problem was fixed. The rest was to try to sucker you into paying them.
