stopped by the shop today. they were finishing up the meth injection kit. test drive tomorrow. i have a couple photos, but they are on my cell phone (i'm on the ipad atm).

Im doing a 2011 front swap on my 08. I also have the the intelegent cruse control, will the front mount clear the fogs on the 2011 bumper as well as the tech package?

 

i would say your intelligent radar will clear no problem since the S/C's intercooler sit's behind the bumper reinforcement bar.(aka crash bar)they'll need to figure out another location to mount the oil cooler since they mount the 08's coolers at the faux vents where now the 2011's have the foglights there. i'm sure there's other locations you can easily mount up the coolers no problems, depends on the installer imo.

 

Thanks Wei, time to save up. Wish the tt kit would mount easy in the new front end but the s/c will do justice

 

np man! your new front end shouldn't have anything obstructing the TT pipings. the way i see it is there's really no differences between the 08's and 11's except for the functional foglights on the lower bumper and different style of course. if you can, go TT!

 

So you don't think the front mount won't inter fear with the tech packages icc? That's my only concern with the TT kit, if it will clear no problem I would love to TT the car

 

dang, tech package with TT and 2011 bumper probably don't mix. i forgot about the sensor and probably won't work due to the large intercooler the TT has. check out Christian's thread and how GTM relocated it but he has the 08 bumper.

Yea I seen how they relocated it on christian's car, That's why I was thinking it wasn't going to work on the 11 front with the tech package! Well I guess once the price is listed and all is said and done with my car, s/c will be the route I go. Thanks again man for your insight
