Premium! Regular after a while will mess with your motor. I had a friend only
Run regular in his fx and after a while the car ran funny
So he took it to his guy and the problem was using the regular gas
Clogged something (not sure if it was the injectors) cause the motors are made to fire at 90 octane 87 fires slower thus throwing off the balance from the spark and fuel. Then you have left over gas in the motor. That's how he explained it

just to give you a cost break down not much difference

regular 16x4 bucks a gallon = 64 bucks
premium 16x4.20 bucks a gallon = 67.20

when your car starts having issues, we do tests to see what gas you do run. good luck on it.... read what it says when you open the gas tank

Actually, that's completely false. Don't listen to a car salesman like Kenny, talk to a mechanic if you want to know what really goes on in a dealership service area.

Besides, running 87 octane doesn't mean your warranty will be canceled/denied. Please stop spreading false information. The fact of the matter is that 87 octane will not cause your car to start having issues in the first place.

If you can actually hear your engine ping (using any octane), then make an appointment to get it fixed ASAP. Your knock detectors are not functioning properly. If your knock sensor were functioning properly, you could never hear any ping at all, regardless of which octane you're running. These cars weren't built in the 70's.
