I called Infiniti to set up a 30K flush and fill. The service manager said that it was not needed until 60K. I made sure that he knew that I had a 5 spd AT and not a 7spd AT. Does this sound correct? On the forums and online, everyone changes their's at 30K.

 

I had mine changed at 30k. Along with Coolant (might be a bit early for that one, but I went ahead and did it), Differential, and Brake Fluid.

 

I see you are in Falls Church, which dealer did you call? Passport seems to do the weirdest services. They also run like engine cleaner through the engine as part of the service. as well as fuel line cleaner, which I am pretty sure that the manual says not to use Additives and Cleaners and such.

I went to Infiniti of Chantilly to get all my crap done.

 

I just looked at the service manual today ....30K it says (08 Journey AT)

 

Yeah I called Passport in Alexandria. I'm moving to Leesburg at the end of the month so I will start taking it to the Chantilly dealer.

 

There is no need, you can go 60 K easy before you need to change it.
