You don't think the v6 stang has top end? I know it's hard to swallow but the v6 stang will give a stock G37 a race. Even on the top end.

I am from Bahrain! ( ARABIAN GULF )

Since 2008 the g37s coupe with Gulf Specs got 350 HP!!

and the G35 Sedan comes with 330 HP

The G37 Sedan comes with 347 HP!!

Thats why in the GCC, Gulf specs cars are more expansive than US specs (imported ones)

i dont know why Gulf specs cars got more power than US Specs!! but the 370z still got the 330 HP same as the US Specs!
What octane fuel do you guys have? You guys probably have a factory tune that takes advantage of better fuel.

Are you sure?
Not that the Blue Oval's new six-cylinder musclecar needs more power. Yep, you read right: We called the new 3.7 Mustang a musclecar. Now if you're reeling from the idea of a Mustang V-6 ever being labeled with that word, or if you can't believe how far that meatball just flew from your mouth, chew on this: 0 to 60 in 5.1 seconds and the quarter mile in 13.7 at 102.0 mph.

2011 Ford Mustang V-6 First Test - Motor Trend

Car and driver got a 14.0 @ 104. That's a hell of a trap speed and shows that apparently C&D couldn't launch the car. Many have tested the G37 doing high 13's @ 101. Do the math, with equal drivers, the V6 stang will get the jump and never look back.

Standard final drive on the V6 is 2.73, but you can have an optional 3.31. In theory, the 2.73 should have higher top end but that's not always the case. I'm pretty sure the V6 will have a healthy top end til its governed top speed.

I was just watching C&D's VIR Lightning Lap and they mentioned the new Mustang V6 has a ridiculous speed limiter in place - 114mph - guess they were running up against that at the track. Pretty crazy considering the performance potential of the 3.7L

Yeah, I heard it was actually 113 MPH. It might be because of the speed rating of the OEM tires. I also heard the car will pull to 155+ with the speed governor removed with a hand-held tuner.

Oh I don't doubt the car doesn't have the power required... kinda of disappointing that Ford didn't put a better tire on the car that could handle more of a top speed - then again I guess it really doesn't matter cause how often are you traveling above 110+.

wow.. guys?? are you serious? did you even floored ur g37 coupe yet? i start thinking that you didnt even pass 5k RPM...

our car have a godly straight line Torque..
our 7AT got 3.92 gear ratio from factory

what else do you need to kill a mustang v6?

please dont quote numbers from other forum or youtube videos. the driver probably cant drive ****..

just try with a v6 mustang and remember what i told you.. they have no chance!!

there is one thing i would like to add for all of you

you guys used to hear about the 350z with full bolts on and engine build is hard to catch with.. and etc.. its unbeatable. bla bla..

well guess what, all these mods INCLUDE cams they barely reach 300 HP (talking about DE engine)..

while we can reach 300 HP easlyyyyy.. just intakes HFC and Exhaust and boom.. welcome to 300 HP club.. we still didnt get headers, light weight pulley, light weight wheels, M370 manifold, crack the VVEL... so just imagine what our car can do after all these mods..

its a killer car its not a corvette killer but it can kill any v6 you can imagine off beside porsche (before some fool tell me it cant kill a GT-R.. we are talking about N/A cars)

If y'all want to consider these cars sports cars then set your sights higher than a **** ant v6. If this is what Infiniti considers a sports car then we got screwed. For the money we paid for this "sports car" we got an overweight and underpowered vehicle.

My car sees 7500rpm every time I get in it. And I've got basic bolt one and judging from what I've read on here and seen my car is not 300rwhp. I'm betting 280. That's not sports car territory. Not in a 3500+lb car.
